Ava Loves Flowers

Ice Skating

After watching the Winter Olympics this year, Ava decided she wanted to go ice skating. She also told me that she wanted to try ski jumping and aerials, but I didn't think she was ready for that yet. So, on a Monday, we headed to Appalachian Ski Mountain, picking up Maddo along the way.

She had so much fun ice skating and playing with Maddox, that she made me take her back that Friday when Daddy could come with us.

Ava's Second Birthday Party

We celebrated Ava's birthday on Saturday, February 6. She had a Clifford-themed birthday cake and dog bone cookies.

Sadly, I had to miss Halloween for work, but this is the spooky creature I unleashed into the neighborhood.

Clifford at the Children's Museum

We recently discovered the fun that we could have at the Children's Museum in Winston-Salem. Peggy and I took Ava and Maddox for a day of fun in a kid-sized world. This is Ava and me standing in front of Emily Elizabeth and Clifford.
